The First Game Update: Custom Parties, and Game Scenarios

Hi everyone, happy Sunday evening!

Thanks to everyone who saw the showcase video. I forgot to show the legislative bill authoring what you can do as an office holder, which I will show tomorrow.

I wanted to announce the first update for the game, which will be released after the free demo and EA launch. A devlog will be up tomorrow regarding all of the bugs I have fixed, which I've fixed a ton already that were from yesterday's video.

Custom Parties and Scenarios Update V0.0.35 Alpha

The custom parties and scenarios update will contain these features:

  • Using custom political parties within your campaigns.
  • Full implementation of the political party creator with all of its features.
  • Save and load custom political parties and custom game scenarios.
  • Create custom game scenarios by modifying what political parties are in the game, the popularity of each party in each admin region, and more.
  • Save, load, and use these custom game scenarios in your campaigns. Say you want to re-create the 1910 political landscape of the United States, or any other scenario, then you will be able to do so.

The update should be out before the end of October, and I will give you updates on the progress when I can.

Minor Weekly Patches Features

Here are some weekly patches feature-wise that I will be adding over the next few weeks.

  • Features to easily manage and better manage your custom politicians. Tags, searches, and filtering by tags.
  • See who is and who is not likely to support your bill that you want to propose.
  • Bug fixes and legislative processes for Japan, Canada, Germany, and South Korea.
  • Expanding the wiki to add more features in better detail and overhauling the UI.
  • UI overhauls, including displaying a lot of graphs to track changes over time.
